About the Item

Handsome Japanese Showa period four-panel byobu screen depicting three wild geese in flight above autumn Chinese bellflower and pampas grass. Ink and natural color pigments over gold paper made in the Nihonga School style. Signed by artist Koko with a seal on the right lower side. Set in a lacquered black wooden frame with a light silk brocade border. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
