Japanese Rare Art Deco Hand Hammered Bronze Sake Vessel

About the Item

Japan, a rare large 22" art deco sake vessel fashioned in hand hammered bronze from the Art Deco period, two pieces. Handcrafted in a marvelous minimalist egg shape form. This hand-hammered and wrought bronze vessel was discovered in Kyoto and was created by specialized Samurai craftsmen with dimpled construction. Opening at top and a tap inserted into its side base. Total Height with the bronze base stand is 22" high. Includes two (2) pieces: the bronze egg shaped vessel and separate bronze display base.
