Pair of Large Tang-Style Chinese Carved Bactrian Camels

About the Item

This is a very unusual pair of large antique Chinese carved wood bactrian camels. The camels date to the 19th century and are in the Tang dynasty style. The camels retain their beautiful natural patina--showing lots of character. One is fitted to a small wood plinth.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Overall very good condition with normal and desirable patination. One camel has a shrinkage crack.
