Fine Pair Of Antique Rosette Andirons
About the Item
A decorative and fine pair of 19th Century Andirons with a particularly fine form. Crafted from Brass and Iron, the pair feature intricate pierced top Rosettes which depict a central vase overflowing with vining tendrils topped with flowers, leaves and pineapples. The Rosettes are supported by flat shaped Iron slats that have a Primitive hammered decorative finish and whose front faces have been gilded creating an almost animal print like decorative surface. Raised number on the back of the support 238.
Dimensions: 10.25” wide by 17” deep by 22” high.
