About the Item

Pair of andirons. Blued and gilt bronze, iron. XIX century. Andirons for fireplace decorated, in the pieces on the sides and in the center of the horizontal part, with grape leaves and bunches of grapes, working the metal so that it also recalls the plant. These three elements or areas are visually united with an openwork piece, decorated in a simpler way with motifs inspired by Neoclassicism. Size: 36 x 45 x 45 cms. Weight is merely orientative.
