About the Item

French pair of carved-wood decorative wall panels from the 19th century. This antique pair of wall ornaments from France are each rectangular in shape, with a height over over 6 foot tall, and feature a hand-painted center panel in a beautiful display of rinceaux and floral medallion at center. This inner section is late 19th century, and has been framed within early 20th century surround having a bead and barrel inner trim and more cleaner molded frame at exterior sides. This piece is has a dark green/gray center with yellow foliate details, and frame/trim are various shades of burn umber, orange, brown, black, and a wonderfully textured patina. Please note that one panel is slightly smaller than the other, being 1 inch less in height. These late 19th/early 20th century French hand-painted wall panels will add a nice layer of architectural interest, warm color, and visual height to your home or office.

French 19th C. Raised-Panel Wood Doors 'A Set of two Single Doors'
Located in Atlanta, GA
A French set of two doors, both singles, from the 19th century. These antique doors from France, though not meant to match up together (as in a pair of French-style doors) but are two near-identical single doors. Each door is comprised of two panels, with top being near-square in shape, over the lower rectangular raised panel. The new custom finish has a soft color palette of gray, blue and green hues. Both sides of the doors are paneled and painted, so these are a great option to place between living spaces. As with all of our doors, we recommend that a professional contractor be used for installation, and that our dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly. This set of 2 single French doors...
