A fine pair of antique Georgian curtain tiebacks.
In turned brass and tin and set with Battersea or Bilston enamel plaques to the front threaded steel shafts to the reverse.
The Battersea plaques decorated with black decoration depicting landscape and village scenes.
Simply a wonderful pair of rare curtain tiebacks!

They are in overall fair as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
One tieback with a re-cemented post and hairline cracks & staining to the Battersea plaque. The other tieback with some crazing. Otherwise, there are light bends here and there and edge wear throughout, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
