A stunning Regency-era carved wood composition pelmet by the renowned carver and gilder D.J. McLauchlan, London. The piece showcases exquisite craftsmanship with its true gold leaf gilded finish, highlighted by intricate foliate carvings with a central floral motif. The back of the carving is lined in burgundy, adding depth and richness to the design.

Perfect for use as a curtain pelmet or as a grand cornice for a bed, this piece serves as a striking focal point, embodying the elegance and craftsmanship of the Regency period.
