About the Item

A unique and antique set of 16 Art Nouveau handmade tiles. Manufactured in Belgium, around 1920. A beautiful pattern and color (green). These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design. Size each tile: 5.9 inches (15 cm) width x 5.9.inches (15 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Also 24 available in red/brown (see last images). Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color difference and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the design. There can be slight variations in each tile's size because of there age and craftsmanship.
