Two Modernist Panels of Wrought Iron Railings, Gates or Screens Mid 20th Century

About the Item

Two modernist panels of wrought iron - railings, gates or screens. Mid-20th century, found in Sweden. Striking modernist design of folded triangles and rods finished in black paint. Each panel shows signs of wear as one might expect from age and outdoor use. There are losses to the painted finish, rust and other marks including traces of old paint - all left as found. There are two holes to the frame on each side for fixing - approximately 12.5cm from top and bottom - and the finish/wear suggests the two panels may have been connected to each other in the past, though they could be used separately. Approximate dimensions per panel: H: 80cm W: 78cm (154cm if the two are attached together) D: 3cm These are heavy panels which will require suitable installation. Fixings not included. Weight per panel: 15kg Total weight: 30kg
