Ancient entrance door, double-sided main door in walnut, carved entirely by hand with very rich wavy shapes and sculpted panels, with original central door and grate (which belonged to a cloistered convent), ancient and original from the early 18th century, coming from a convent in Piedmont (Italy). Important and large, it opened both entirely and only in the small internal door, ideal in a large entrance to a historic building, in a luxury residence or a house of great importance, also carved in the internal part, beautiful and with a patina of time original. a true piece of ancient history. maximum measurements cm w 240 x h 302, only internal door cm w 111 x h 232

Spanish furniture and architecturals of the 18th century, such as this pair of walnut wood entry doors, were highly influenced by French stylings. Hand-carved circa 1750, the doors feature deep, sinuous moldings, reminiscent of the curvaceous motifs seen during the reign of Louis XV. The amazing doors have a rich brown patina that accentuates the charm of the carvings, which are also enhanced by the visible screws used to join the pieces of walnut wood. Comprised of five carved panels per door, each carving is similar: a rough rectangle with rounded ends and barbed counter curves. The three smaller panels are orientated horizontally, surrounding the two larger and vertically arranged panels. A thickly scrolled bronze pull can be seen on each door, also functioning as door knockers (the door on the right has commensurate wear from the pull striking the wood).
