Circular Push-and-Pull Door Handle in Brass, Mid-20th Century, England

About the Item

Circular push-and-pull door handle in brass, mid-20th century, England. A simple handle, made up of two separate round pieces; each side contoured with a wide stem and optional rose (or back plate). The components are in fair vintage condition and the aged patina has been left as found. There are signs of weathering and wear, as one might expect from age and use, including scratches, dings and marks, green deposits and oxidation, with light rust to the fixing bolt. The handle is set up to use either side of a single door, however you could consult your fitter to enable the two pieces to work on thicker doors, or alongside one another on double doors if you wish. One side is fitted with a bolt (approximately 4cm), which we have not tried to remove. Approximate dimensions for one side of the handle are as follows: Dia 13.7cm D* 6cm or 6.5cm including the circular rose * Depth = Projection from face of door to front rim of one piece Please be aware these are heavy pieces and suitable installation will be required. Weight approximately 2.2 kg in total.
