About the Item

Enhance your modern home with this pair of reclaimed solid oak raised panel doors, featuring a hand-scraped finish. Originally offering passage inside a stately French home, these doors exude character and old-world charm. Perfect as a grand entrance to your primary bathroom or closet, they add authenticity and visual appeal to any space. The solid oak construction ensures lasting quality and beauty, while their unique historical element brings a touch of elegance and sophistication to contemporary interiors.  Salvaged in France, 19th century. The doors have been hand-scraped to reveal the natural wood tone; remnants of the original alabaster paint remain, giving the doors an authentic, timeworn appearance. Eight half-barrel hinges, original cremone bolt hardware, and lock box are present. Minor wood separation with overall wear consistent with age and use, no structural damage. The doors measure approximately 51.25" W x 101" H x 1.25" D when closed together.
