French Louis XV Style 'Apollo with Lyre' Fireback / Backsplash, 20th Century
About the Item
20th century French fireback with the god Apollo driving horses. God of light, sun, truth, prophecy, music, joy and horses. Also the saving God, both in emergency caused by an epidemic or an invasion of enemies, as in any other emergency.
The fireback is made of cast iron and has a natural brown patina. Upon request it can be made black / pewter at no extra cost. The condition is good, no cracks.
