This fine antique fireplace surround is from the Dijon region. The bicolor Burgundy marble stone is named Corton, after the French town, Corton. This mantel was installed in panelling room. Works with country home decoration as well as with contemporary art. It was built in the Louis XIV style in the 19th century.
