An antique late 19th century carved oak fireplace. The fluted column-like plaster jambs are accompanied by impressive capitals, while the frieze displays a carved shell complimented by the veneered finish for a flourish of grandeur. This stylish antique fire surround is a handsome addition to interiors traditional and contemporary alike. Condition:

Good structural condition. There is some paint residue to the outer edges where it fits against the wall. There is a small area of decay to the right base at the back. This fireplace would benefit from being set about 15mm into plaster.
