This is a nicely waxed original French antique fireplace surround in a Louis XIV style of the 19th century. The hard stone/marble has red and honey color veining and from the village Corton. Corton is a small village near Medieval city of Beaune. Measures: 145 cm Exterior width 57,09 inch 118 cm Exterior height 46,46 inch 122 cm Interior width 48,03 inch 106 cm Interior height 41,73 inch 34 cm Depth shelf 13,39 inch 51 cm Depth jambs 20,08 inch.
