An exceptional, early 20th century, Regency style chimneypiece in Portoro Nero and statuary marbles. The central tablet is a book matched specimen veneer of phenomenal quality, bordered by a moulded statuary frame, flanked by further Portoro. The statuary corner blocks carved with floral rosettes, above tapering reeded jambs, on Portoro footblocks.
