A pair of French Louis XV style ormolu chenets, nineteenth century, after the eighteenth century originals by Charles Cressent, each with sphinx on a c-scroll rococo base, one holding a cat, the other a monkey. Exceptional quality throughout. Dimensions: 38.5cm (15¼") High, 35.5cm (14") Wide, 27.5cm (10¾") Deep
