Period Mid Georgian Steel Firegrate in the Manner of Thomas Chippendale

About the Item

A good quality mid 18th century steel firegrate in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. The four columned legs surmounted by pierced panels and tall urn finials. Shaped front bars with arched centre, and shaped cast iron back. Width At Front: 870 mm 34 ¼" Width At Back: 485 mm 19 ⅛" Height: 830 mm 32 ⅝" Depth: 427 mm 16 ¾"
