A true collector's item, a rare collection of early 20th Century 'Brighton Pavilion' Bamboo Chinoiserie armchairs displaying long flat arms in a horseshoe shape back, supported by geometric designs in a Chinese Chippendale style. Raised on four legs conjoined with stretchers - These antique English bamboo arm chairs featuring seat backs and arm panels with fine Chinese brush paintings on both sides of the back and arm side panels -- each one unique, some are signed and stamped. Each painted panel is a work of art unto itself. In excellent condition with a fine patina reflecting the chair's age.
Six chairs available. Use 1, 2, 4 or 6 around a dining table or just one for an accent chair, an office chair, a bedroom chair or display it as a sculptural work of art.

A very handsome set of 6 English, Chinese Chippendale ebonized carved mahogany chairs -- 2 arm chairs and 4 side chairs with open fretwork, ball and claw feet, upholstered slip seats. The carvings are beautifully articulated on the pierced back. Chairs offer a wide comfortable seat and sturdy construction.
2 of the 4 side chairs are slightly larger in scale but a well matched set of 6.
