This item is made of solid wood. Any movement in the wood, little cracks and color changes that might occur over time cannot be considered grounds for complaint. The changes are not imperfections in the material, but rather a natural settling of the wood in reaction to various environmental conditions.

For best results, keep the furniture in a dry and well-ventilated area to allow the wood to acclimate properly.”
