About the Item
Beautiful and rare French lava stone top patio and garden dining table with a wrought iron base. Very heavy and solid crafted of lava stone from the volcanoes of Auvergne Volvic Puy-de-Dome. The tables are then taken to Toulon on the French Mediterranean coast and glazed with a stone like enameled finish. The lava stone is crystal baked at 1000 degrees celsius for an exceptionally hard, resistant surface that can be left exposed outdoors year round. The table top has an intricate fine craquelure patina on the finish and features a chestnut or camel color on the 1 inch thick, round top. Supported by a wrought iron base with gracefully curved legs conjoined by a round stretcher in the middle. Distinctive Amalfi coast style and handsome profile. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
