A Rare Bar Harbor Style One Drawer Server with Top Shelf
About the Item
A rare Bar Harbor style one drawer wicker server In natural finish. It is beautifully and elaborately woven in a three over three reed design on all surfacesmwith an unbelievably beautiful Bar Harbor designed skirting connecting the top shelf to the desk top which is over one storage drawer connecting with Bar Harbor style wing supports on either side of the drawer. There are four splayed woven wrapped legs above woven pineapple style wicker wrapped footings and to top that off is a remarkable wicker wrapped support system connecting the four legs which is amazing and beautiful to witness. Truly a beautiful and amazing piece of wicker design and ingenuity from all angles.
I have only owned this piece twice in over twenty five years and each owner was using them as a bar in their Sunrooms. I think this beautiful piece of antique wicker has the potential for many unique possible uses!
