Carved red marble throne with two sphinxes.
Two mythological figures with the body of a lion and a female bust decorate the arms of the throne. Above each sphinx, a scroll visually connects the lower area with the backrest, decorated with small rock formations and a central mirror with vegetal elements. The seat shows a frieze of eggs. The work refers to ancient examples such as the throne of the priest of Bacchus in the Getty Museum, for example." ·
