Italian patinated bronze figurative fountain mouth Italian, 19th Century Height 35.5cm, width 28cm, depth 13.5cm This curious object is a patinated bronze fountain element mounted onto a yellow veined marble support. The element is a figurative fountain mouth, modelled in this instance as a young girl with rather grotesque features, not least her distended mouth. The bronze is finely cast and finished, and the piece would make a wonderful addition to any bookshelf.
