About the Item

More information coming soon… Hand-carved in the 1800s in France, this pair of marble finial ornaments are highly stylized pot feu. The flame tip rises above four volutes protrusions that terminate beneath the half-round vase form. A leaf cup envelops the highly concave neck of the square foot. The marble has a beautiful light gray hue with white veining.

The two twin architectural elements of sculpted Botticino marble have a quadrangular base from which a chalice-shaped foot extends.
