Monumental Pair of French Neoclassical Style Bronze Rams Head Sculpture Pedestals or Plant Stands by Metropolitan Galleries. Cast by the traditional, Lost Wax Bronze Casting method. This labor intensive and time consuming method of casting bronze statues, ensure pristine quality and vivid detail. Features intricate, hand forged details with a beautiful fire-applied patina. Each stand has a torchiere form with rounded top showcasing meticulous foliate and acanthus detail. Features three sculptural rams heads in a tripod stance over long tapered and ribbed supports leading to hoof feet over a scrolled platform base. Timeless craftmanship and design.
