Freestanding contemporary polyester plaster pedestal by Marc Bankowsky. Marc studied at L’école Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) and at The Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Art and currently resides in Burgundy, France. A designer and decorator for the past 20 years, Marc Bankowsky creates uniquely beautiful furniture and accessories. In addition to a custom suite of furniture and accessories for the Haute Couture Christian Dior, restaurateur Pierre Gagnaire, and Baccarat. Bankowsky has exhibited throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest (US), Architektur & Wohnen (G), Elle Décoration (F) & Elle Decor (US), House & Garden (US), and The World of Interiors (UK).
