About the Item
Metal with fired finish (in distress). Tall (just shy of 5 feet) and of Classical
Design with ribbed fluting and on attached square bases. The bases decorated with laurels on all four sides. Provenance: From 1873 Italianate house in Nashville’s historic district.
Just shy of 5 feet tall at 58 inches, and 27 inches diameter across the top lip of the urn. The square plinths measure approximately 21 inches.
Distressed finish, flaking, peeling, with general wear and losses throughout.
Sturdy , not iron. Urns are attached to plinths. Two pieces total.
