About the Item

This Norwegian silver-plated longboat on a wooden base impresses with its realistic miniature reproduction of a vikinger boat. The wavy shape of the wooden base wonderfully represents the sea. This special piece can be used purely for decorative purposes or, thanks to its open bow, as a decorative bowl. Use it as a centerpiece for an elegantly laid table, for flower arrangements, or to store your beloved treasures. The possibilities are endless, and the traditional miniature boat will always be an eye-catcher in your home. The bow is inserted into a stepped wooden base so that the boat can easily be removed. The decorative shields lining the sides can also be removed. These playful details characterize this exquisite quality. This piece is attributed to A. Haase. It is stamped "Norway" and unidentified pictorial hallmarks (see picture).
