Mid-20th Century Woven Chinese Rice Basket

About the Item

Mid-20th century woven Chinese rice basket with handle. Hand-woven willow with elm handle. Beautiful faded patina and texture from decades of wear. Three baskets available (see pictures). Baskets are sold individually and priced $1,400 each. Note: Due to regional changes in humidity and climate during shipping, antique wood may shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer may loosen or peel, and painted finishes and gilt may flake and crack.
