About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown cobalt blue, silver flecks, controlled bubbles Italian art glass bowl or vase. Attributed to the Barovier e Toso company. The piece has a clam shell shape with scallop rim and with applied clear foot. It also has a heavy gloss surface. You can see some of the "Aurene" or iridescent glass creates a rainbow reflection on some areas. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, coffee or console table. Use it as a fruit bowl, catchall or display as a sculptural piece. Striking color and shape. Mid-century era. Measures 10" long x 5 1/4" tall x 5" wide.
