About the Item

This is an outstanding Mid-Century Modern Aldo Londi for Bitossi ceramic trio of pieces, with a box, and two vide poche or catchalls. The pieces were crafted in Italy circa 1960. This rare ensemble is imported and distributed in the United States by Rosenthal Netter. The trio boasts a round-lidded box, a medium-sized ashtray, and a large ashtray. Each piece features an abstract geometric design with alternating striped patterns in orange, yellow, and black-brown colors. Each piece retains the original paper label from the Rosenthal Netter company on the underside, with an additional engraving of "Italy" and a large "R" in block letters on the bottom of both ashtrays. Dimensions: Box: 7.07 in diameter (18 cm) by 3.94 in high (10 cm). Medium ashtray: 8.25 in diameter (21 cm) by 1.75 in high (4.5 cm). Large ashtray: 10 in diameter (25.5 cm) by 2.19 in high (5.5 cm).
