A Venetian style Chinese vintage cast bronze openwork flaring basket from the 20th century with reeds, ribbon tied brace and scoop motifs. Created in China during the 20th century, this bronze openwork basket or bowl showcases a Venetian influence perfectly complimented by a light golden patina. The basket features a flaring Silhouette topped by a wide opening adorned with a regular rhythm of scoop motifs on the outer edge. The body is made of flaring reeds secured by a horizontal ribbon tied brace. The ensemble, boasting a nice patina, rests on a circular stepped base. With its graceful lines and Venetian inspiration, this Chinese cast bronze openwork basket or bowl from the 20th century will bring a luxurious touch to most decors and will bring an elegant presence to any dining room where it might be used as a fruit basket, placed on a table top.
