About the Item

Cenedese rare & large art glass bowl attributed to Ermanno Nason, circa 1970s. This is a magical piece of vintage Mid-Century Modern murano glass - measuring a large 25cms / 9.8 inches (approx.) in diameter and displaying some exquisite Italian glass techniques. Captured with a fine orange / amber / brown coloured flower pattern with a white outer edge set in clear glass with a clear glass base - a particularly nice feature is the amber bead to the edge or rim of the bowl - this is not an easy detail to add to a piece of glass but, of course, here we are talking about an exquisite piece of midcentury modern Murano glass by one of the finest makers in their history. This bowl would make a create centrepiece or would be a wonderful statement fruit bowl in any kitchen, albeit Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian, Minimalist, Maximalist, Bauhaus, Art-Deco or Contemporary styled home to bring warmth elegance and a touch of fun.
