Mid-Century Modern Murano Green Art Glass Swirled Bowl Barovier Attributed

About the Item

This large green Mid-Century Modern art glass swirled bowl was made in Murano Italy in circa 1965, and very likely by the renowned glass artist Ercole Barovier. The bowl is a series of swirled deep green glass that has been crafted in a serpentine pattern from the base, and finished at the top with a pointed spike or prong. Please note that one of the these spikes is broken as is priced accordingly.

Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown gold flecks and lavender purple swirling design Italian art glass bowl. Documented to designer Ercole Barovier for the Barovier e Toso company, circa 1955-1960.
