You are viewing monumental French bronze centerpiece or Jardiniere Two maiden figurines sit either side of the bowl At other points it's decorated with tiger heads, lions paw feet and other classical motifs Great piece for achieving a grand classical look for your interior The piece is after the original design cast at Lerolle Freres in Paris Lerolle Frères was a French bronze foundry in Paris that was active in the second half of the 19th century The firm was founded by Louis Lerolle (1813-1875), who passed the business on to his sons Édouard-François and Camille in 1849 The brothers exhibited their work at major exhibitions, including the World's Fair of 1867, and won a silver medal at the 1849 Exhibition of Agricultural and Industrial Products in Paris.
