About the Item
A one of a kind, large centerpiece bowl is handcrafted from pigmented scagliola (stucco). With its organic asymmetrical shape, this beautiful piece is crafted in three sections, each features a unique mix of composites and pigments that complement each other and the three parts connect and merge while maintaining their distinct forms.
Resembling a sea creature, this piece has a smooth finish on the outside, achieved through multiple stages of sanding, filling, and polishing .
The inner part, approx 27cm deep, has a subtle texture that contrasts with the smooth outer surface, and is finished in gold liquid metal.
A one of a kind large bowl that makes a beautiful centrepiece or can stand alone on a plinth as a work of art.
