Pair of Italian Grand-Tour Neoclassical Hand-Carved Carrara Marble Covered Bowls

About the Item

A gorgeous and finely hand-carved pair of grand-tour period neoclassical style Carrara marble covered bowls/centerpieces. Each piece is of oval form with hand-carved scalloped bodies. The tops are also hand-carved with the finest Italian Carrara marble with dore bronze acorn finial tops. The bases are short and wide and also made of a beautiful hand-carved Carrara marble. Italy, Circa: Mid 19th Century.
