About the Item

To juxtapose marble’s natural veining, the Pila Bowl references the work of modernist architect Paul Rudolph. Reflecting the tension between built and organic forms in contemporary design, this stacked bowl showcases a tonal mix of different natural marbles. Influenced by biomorphic design, the Pietra series is comprised of objects inspired by naturally occurring shapes and textures. The result is a collection of refined yet tactile objects that enhance a space with effortless sophistication. Materials: Antico, Arabescato, & Merlot Dimensions: L23 x W23 x H6cm / L9 x W9 x H2.3” Marble is a naturally occurring material, each piece may vary slightly in appearance. These are not faults, they are the details that make each purchase wonderfully unique.
