About the Item

A striking set of three vintage Murano glass bowls designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d’Arte, Italy, circa 1950s. These sculptural pieces exemplify the Sommerso technique, a hallmark of Poli’s work, in which vibrant inner colors are encased in thick, clear outer layers to create a luminous, dimensional effect. Each bowl showcases a distinct color combination and form: Green & Yellow Square Bowl: 5.5 × 7.5 cm (2.2 × 3 in) Red Oval Bowl: 8 × 8 × 4.5 cm (3.1 × 3.1 × 1.8 in) Pink & Orange Square Bowl: 10 × 10 × 5 cm (3.9 × 3.9 × 2 in) These collectible pieces remain in excellent vintage condition, perfect as decorative accents or functional art glass. Retains original Murano glass labels.
