Magazine holder designed by Giotto Stoppino (1926-1911) for Kartell. Stunning and very decorative piece, designed in Milano Italy by the architect Giotto Stoppino, back in the 1970. This piece has been created for the Kartell company and crafted in solid desified cream plastic. Weight: 3 Pounds, (Grams). Measurements: 342.90 mm by 412.5 mm by 190.5 mm (13.50 x 16.24 x 7.50 Inches). Marks & Signatures: "DESIGNER GIOTTO STOPPINO KARTELL 4676". Giotto Stoppino Born in Vigevano in April 30, 1926 - Milan, August 23, 2011) was an Italian architect and designer. He was a pupil of the architect Ernesto Nathan Rogers, one of the inspiring exponents of neoliberty, he collaborated with the architects Vittorio Gregotti and Lodovico Meneghetti (Associated Architects 1953-1968). From 1968, with his independent studio, he ranged from architecture to urban planning, up to design: residential nucleus in Cameri, rental houses and office building in Novara, Banca Popolare di Novara headquarters in Bra, buildings in via Palmanova, via Cassoni, Via Desiderio in Milan, residential and office buildings in Lucca, the Bossi Spa textile factory in Cameri. Since 1960 member of the Industrial Design Association (ADI) twice in the ADI steering committee 66-68 and 71-73, he was a resident of the Industrial Design Association (ADI) in the years 82-84. He also chaired the ICSID '83 International Congress in Milan. Note: This piece is a vintage one made in the 1970, not the moderns reissues. Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the plastic.
