About the Item

This striking handblown art glass bowl is attributed to the Coquille series designed by Paul Kedelv for Flygsfors Glasbruk, Sweden, in the late 1950s. Crafted with the signature Coquille technique, the piece features a flowing, organic rim paired with layered colors—deep amethyst purple cased in milky white, all encased in clear crystal glass. Its sculptural form makes it versatile: use it as a refined Mid-Century catchall, a dramatic centerpiece, or a sculptural decorative accent. The bowl is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Although many Coquille bowls were acid-etched with the Flygsfors signature, the delicate script often wore away over time; the unmistakable form and colorway confirm its Swedish Mid-Century origin. Collectible, timeless, and effortlessly elegant, this piece is a classic example of Scandinavian glass artistry. All orders are carefully packed and shipped within 24–48 hours.
