Psychedelic modernist ceramic wall plate from the "Mushroom" series by Ruscha Keramik (West Germany) crafted in the seventies. Form number marked on the back 717/3. This extravagant German pottery design plate features fat lava-style slip dotted with small glazed pebbles the form an abstract relief with glossy orange and red "mushrooms" .
This plate is a beautiful example of the German pottery tradition and seventies ceramic design. Can be hung as a decorative wall plate or presented on a table.
