Space Age Vide Poche in Total White Ceramic By Parravicini Ceramiche, Italy 60s

About the Item

We offer for sale a large Vide Posche with a sculptural and unusual shape, made in Italy between the 60s and 70s by the factory " Parravicini Ceramiche ", as attested by the adhesive label still present at the base. We are not sure that we have fully succeeded in representing and enhancing its shape through photos, this vide poche has a circular section, perfectly cylindrical at first glance, but which is actually conical inside. Like a vortex, the bottom of this space age vide poche slides downwards, but the centre of the cone is positioned not at the centre of the cone but unbalanced on one side only. Essential, elegant and very modern, it is a timeless object capable of combining with other furnishing components of any era. Design inspired by Geometric Solids or natural shapes synthesized in essential modules in a single color block, this vide a poche is the result of the stylistic trend of the 60s, it recalls the ceramics of the time produced by Franco Pozzi, Bertoncello, Pierre Cardin etc.. Intact and free of chips, this item is in good vintage condition. It shows minimal signs of use and time.
