A beautiful and rare 'Démodé' catchall vide-poche from Venini Murano by designer Sergio Asti, 1968, Italy. Signed 'Venini Italia' on bottom underside. Sergio Asti, Italian, Milano designer and architect (b 25 May 1926 - d 27 July 2021.) Beautiful and chic post-modern collectable design to enjoy for a lifetime and pass down. This hand-made, hand-blown, Italian design Murano art glass catchall (or ashtray) is opaque white, caramel, and chocolate brown hues with marble-like design. Sergio Asti's designs have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and permanent collections at the Triennale di Milano Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Dish is documented (on underside) 'Venini Italia' (hard to capture in photograph.) Dimensions: 1.19" Height x 7.07" Diameter.
