It was to become one of the most important independent studios for Scandinavian ceramics with leading designers like Axel Salto, Jais Nielsen, Hugo Liisberg as well as Staehr-Nielsen all producing designs for them. Staehr-Nielsen was highly influential at Saxbo and following its closure in 1968 she moved to Royal Copenhagen however it is her work at Saxbo which remains most sought after. Her work is held in the National Museum in Stockholm, The British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum in New York and her prices have steadily increased with demand over the past years.
