18th Century English Early Georgian Mahogany Box with Original Handles

About the Item

An early Georgian mahogany box from the late 18th century. This exquisite English box is made of a rich mahogany wood seemingly stained to perfection with the dark highlights around the raised trim highlighting the beauty of the base hue. The box has a simple decorative trim on both the front and the top and original bronze handles. This English box, circa 1770 would adorn any tabletop or bookshelf beautifully.
