About the Item
An antique English Tunbridge box with geometric inlay, hinged lid, red velvet interior, felted bottom and comes with working key. The box with a diamond form inlaid medallion flanked by polychrome wood geometric form bands on top and front in green and salmon on the left side. The velvet interior, more than likely later addition. Comes with a working lock and key.
Dimensions: 9 3/4" W, 6 5/8" D and 4 7/8" H
Condition: two dimples to top of lid, few minor fine stable age cracks, old veneer loss to lower right and front edge, old veneer repair to right of escutcheon.
